Job Overview

cARTie's Board of Directors is responsible for thinking big picture about how we can continuously refine and grow cARTie's reach and impact. We are looking to expand our Board with more diverse voices, perspectives, expertise areas, and ideas.

What You’ll Do

Board Members each bring something unique to our organization.

We ask you to contribute meaningfully to cARTie.
You must attend quarterly, virtual Board Meetings.
You must support and participate in annual fundraisers.
You must serve on at least one Board Committee, including: Accessibility and Programming; Finance, Fundraising, and Sustainability; Outreach and Communications; Special Events.

What You’ll Bring

You benefit from a breadth and depth of exposure to reasons why early childhood art and museum education matter.

To the extent you wish, you can gain professional learning certifications and deep knowledge about The cARTie Curriculum, which pulls from promising practices in early childhood and art/museum education.
You will have opportunities to see and feel how impactful cARTie field trips are for the children we serve.
You will hear reports from staff and other partners at Board Meetings.
You will help make a difference in the lives of 1,000s of children and youth with limited access to the arts.
