Want to meet a real-life artist (who's art is in a museum)? On September 10th, come join cARTie's Co-Founder, Clare Murray, and featured student-artist, Ariyanna, for a playful exhibition walk-through, fireside art chat, and spirited art-making (with some of Ariyanna's favorite snacks as creative fuel).
This is an exhibition opening and artist talk meant for families with young children, educators interested in learning more about what moves youth these days, artists willing to reconnect with their inner child artist, and folks who care deeply about art and museum education.
This special event breaks down barriers to the art world and puts the spotlight on student-artistry. For two hours, you will have a chance to get to know Ariyanna, one of cARTie's featured student-artists, experience her art, and collaborate on a digital art piece inspired by her work.
Exploring Digital Art is a solo exhibition of works by student-artist, Ariyanna Johnson. Ariyanna has exhibited artwork inside the cARTie art museum bus since 2025. She joined cARTie's Student Advisory Board (cSAB) that same year and has since helped set the tone for annual calls for student art and exhibitions aboard the bus. Currently, she is experimenting with all sorts of digital art techniques.
Come with questions and curiosities about digital art
Recall past artwork by Ariyanna you might have seen on the cARTie art museum bus (if you can!)
Once a month, cARTie takes over the first-floor gallery at Lotta Studio and installs an exhibition of student-artist(s)' work for community engagement. While the exhibition is up, cARTie develops programming for families, children, youth, adolescents, educators, donors, sponsors, artists, and more. If you have an idea for a program you'd like cARTie to organize, reach out.
